Job vacancy Quality Assistant

The Quality Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Quality Auditor in ensuring that suits produced by Wensum Ltd meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a manufacturing environment.

• Assist in Inspections
• Support Quality Testing
• Assist in preparing and submitting quality reports to the Quality Officer and management
• Support the monitoring of production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures and standards.
• Ensure Compliance
• Stay informed about changes in quality standards and regulations relevant to suit manufacturing.
• Coordinate with different departments, such as production and design, to address quality issues and facilitate process improvements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing product quality and production efficiency.

Other Skills / Competencies
• School Certificate or equivalent.
• Prior experience in quality control or quality assurance within the apparel or textile industry is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques, and garment manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
• Proficiency in using standard office software and basic knowledge of quality measurement tools is preferred.

Working Conditions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to fabrics and production machinery.
• May require occasional overtime or weekend work depending on production schedules and quality issues.
• Working hours : 07hr15 to 17hr15 from Monday to Friday.
