Duties of Job

Research and Evaluate Vendors: Identify potential suppliers, compare their products, prices, and services.
Negotiate Contracts: Secure the best terms and conditions for the company.
Manage Inventory: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Ensure Timely Delivery: Track orders and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Quality Control: Review the quality of purchased products and resolve any discrepancies.
Report Preparation: Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses and financial reports.
Compliance: Implement and enforce company procurement policies and procedures.

Skills/Competencies

Experience: Proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or in a similar role.
Skills: Strong negotiation skills, solid analytical skills, and good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices.
Education: A degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g., Procurify, SpendMap).
