Job Summary

A CCTV Operator is responsible for monitoring and managing surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of a designated area. This role involves observing live and recorded footage, identifying suspicious activities, and coordinating with security personnel.

Duties of Job

Monitoring Surveillance Systems:
Observe live and recorded video feeds from CCTV cameras.
Identify and report any unusual or suspicious activities.
Incident Response:
Coordinate with security personnel to respond to incidents.
Provide real-time updates and support during security breaches.
Footage Analysis:
Review recorded footage to gather evidence for investigations.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents and findings.
System Maintenance:
Ensure all CCTV equipment is functioning correctly.
Perform regular checks and maintenance on cameras and recording devices.
Data Management:
Store and manage recorded footage securely.
Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication with security teams and other relevant personnel.
Provide training and support to new CCTV operators.
