Job Summary | Vintage Lodge is looking for a personable and organized Receptionist to be the face of our Bed & Breakfast. As the first point of contact for guests, you will ensure a warm, welcoming, and professional experience while managing front desk operations and assisting with daily guest services. Key Responsibilities: Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing necessary information about the lodge’s services and amenities. Handle phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries promptly and courteously. Manage room bookings and update reservation systems. Assist with breakfast arrangements and other guest needs during their stay. Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to address guest requests or issues. Maintain the front desk area to reflect the calm and welcoming environment of the lodge. |

Payment Processing: Process payments for bookings, extras, and services. Issue receipts and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Coordination with Staff: Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready and any issues are resolved promptly. Communicate guest needs or requests to relevant team members. Breakfast Assistance: Provide guests with information about breakfast timings and options. Ensure smooth communication between the kitchen and guests regarding dietary preferences or requirements. Front Desk Maintenance: Keep the reception area clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. Ensure all brochures, maps, and materials for guests are well-stocked. Promoting Services: Inform guests about additional services or amenities offered by the lodge. Recommend local attractions, dining options, or wellness services to enhance their stay. |
