Job Summary | As a Shop Assistant in a jewellery shop, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional customer experience, assisting clients in selecting and purchasing jewellery pieces, and supporting shop operations. This position involves direct interaction with customers, offering advice on product selection, answering inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining product displays, handling transactions, and contributing to the store’s overall organization and cleanliness. |
Duties of Job | - Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist them with product selection, and provide detailed information about jewellery pieces, including materials, care, and pricing. - Sales Assistance: Identify customer needs, make product recommendations, and upsell or suggest complementary items to enhance sales and achieve daily targets. - Product Presentation: Ensure jewellery displays are clean, organized, and visually appealing; regularly rearrange and restock items to maintain an attractive shopping environment. - Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of jewellery collections, gemstones, metals, and unique designs to answer customer inquiries effectively. - Customer Follow-Up: Maintain customer relationships by notifying them about new collections, special promotions, and offering after-sales support. - Shop Maintenance: Contribute to keeping the shop clean and tidy, including dusting displays, organizing storage areas, and maintaining general orderliness. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations, assist with training new staff, and participate in meetings and training sessions. |
