Job Position: Senior Accountant

Our client, established in 1977, is a leading feed provider with a significant presence in the Indian Ocean and East Africa.

The role, reporting to the Finance Manager, involves overseeing the financial operations of three business units. Key responsibilities include preparing financial records, optimizing resources, and achieving financial targets.

• Preparation and oversight of periodic financial reports and KPIs.
• Collaboration with Heads of Departments to maintain financial health and manage risks.
• Ensuring accurate bank reconciliations, and managing bank transactions.
• Review and enhance internal accounting controls to safeguard financial assets.
• Implementing auditors' recommendations and managing cash flows.
• Compiling and executing budgets to meet financial goals.

Candidates should hold an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) and have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including expertise in ERP systems, comprehensive knowledge of regulations, and advanced Microsoft Office skills. Proficiency in both French and English is essential.
