Job Summary | Data Entry and Record Keeping Entering financial data into accounting software. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions. Organizing and filing financial documents for easy retrieval and reference. Invoicing and Payments Preparing and sending invoices to customers. Processing incoming payments and updating customer accounts. Handling vendor invoices and processing payments to suppliers. Bank Reconciliation Reconciling bank statements with company records. Identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Payroll Processing Assisting in the preparation and processing of payroll. Ensuring all employee records are accurate and up-to-date. Expense Reporting Reviewing and verifying expense reports. Ensuring compliance with company policies regarding expenses. Financial Reporting Assisting in the preparation of financial reports. Generating reports for management review. Customer and Vendor Communication Responding to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Communicating with vendors to resolve billing issues. Compliance and Auditing Assisting with internal and external audits. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies. General Administrative Support Providing general administrative support to the finance department. Assisting with special projects and tasks as assigned by management. Continuous Improvement Identifying opportunities for process improvements. Implementing best practices to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations. |
Duties of Job | The Accounts Clerk is responsible for providing support to the finance department, performing a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks.
