Pixel in the Box - Port Louis, Mauritius

Pixel in the Box is a wedding and portrait photography business located in Mauritius. Its out-of-the-box philosophy is based on a positive way of seeing life, on natural emotions and on a unique image style to create wonderful unforgettable memories.

Pixel in the Box was created in 2010 by Julien Venner, a young French photographer, based in Mauritius.

Photography has always been present in Julien's life as passion and cultural background, and early 2006 it became a "more serious and professional" passion. Working in the finance field, he developed his artistic skills, style and touch during week-end assignments and holidays' trainings (in Europe and in Asia, where he met and worked with several professional photographers.

Julien experienced almost all types of photography (wedding, portrait, social event, photo reportage, studio, fashion, landscape, sport, animal, macro, ...) and what he likes the most is to share emotions with his images through original compositions.

Julien also likes travelling around the world and reporting social life conditions through his images. He already participated to the image collections of numerous Internet sites and famous publications in China, Mauritius, Europe and USA. Julien works and collaborates with Getty Images, the famous american stock photography company.

He graduated in photography in 2008 and launched a small wedding and portrait business which experienced a huge success. Launching "Pixel in the box" in 2010 is the first achievement of his new career path as wedding and portrait photographer in Mauritius.

Julien uses Nikon professional equipment (for digital) and Mamyia and Rolleiflex for film. He works with Blurb (www.blurb.com) to create wonderful wedding albums.
